Mainframe Developer (Blu Age)

Role Overview: As an experienced Mainframe Developer with expertise in Blu Age and Mainframe Modernization, your primary role will be to drive modernization efforts by utilizing Blu Age tools to automate the transformation of legacy mainframe systems. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and IT professionals to develop strategies and implement migration solutions that ensure optimal system performance and scalability. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize Blu Age automation tools to analyze, modernize, and transform legacy mainframe applications into more modern and scalable solutions. - Lead initiatives for migrating and modernizing core mainframe systems. - Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications in alignment with business requirements. - Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. - Monitor and optimize mainframe systems for maximum efficiency. - Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for mainframe applications. - Prepare detailed documentation and reports on modernization processes and development activities. Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience with mainframe development and modernization. - Extensive experience using Blu Age for automating mainframe application transformation. - Proficiency in mainframe technologies such as COBOL, CICS, DB2, IMS, and JCL. - Strong understanding of modern development practices and cloud platforms. - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. - Excellent communication skills. - Experience in project management within Agile and/or Waterfall environments. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience) is preferred.,
