Roles and Responsibilities: Changing firewall rule bases; changing system and/or group definitions and the authentication configuration established at the user, client, and session levels. Firewall security policy administration, changing system back-up schedule Changes to system alerts, monitoring, and logging functions. Configuration of security policies for security infrastructure using a proper change management process. Security policy rule-based administration and backups. Proactively updating and configuring security device signatures. Ensuring log switching and housekeeping of security device logs and maintaining adequate disk space on the security devices. Use of proper zoning architecture with periodic review of all policies as well. Configuring and managing IPSEC tunnels (site to site and remote access VPN). Network Device Hardening, Configuration-backup and Management, Log Management. WLAN attack detection and Mitigation, WLAN Configuration fine-tuning. Monitor and control configuration aspects like IP address, subnet mask, DNS settings, IPSLA etc. with proper change management process. Monitoring existing IOS and patch installed and managing new IOS upgrades within incubation first before rolling out in production. Requirements: Must have strong experience as a network and security engineer, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in network design, implementation, and security. Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, VLANs, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and VPNs. Expertise in firewall technologies, such as Cisco ASA, FortiGate firewall, Sophos Firewall, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Proxy Servers and Network Security Engineer, and experience with intrusion detection and prevention systems. Solid understanding of security concepts, including access control, authentication, encryption, and vulnerability management.
