Magento Programmer

As a Magento Developer at Addis Infotech, your role will involve developing technical strategies for multiple, concurrent projects on the Magento eCommerce platform. You will be responsible for improving and expanding on existing architecture, including necessary 3rd party integrations. Working in a collaborative environment, you will be expected to work with highly loaded Magento modules, complex architecture, and business logic. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing technical strategies for projects on the Magento platform - Learning and enhancing existing architecture, including 3rd party integrations - Collaborating in an environment that includes Scrum, Git, and other tools - Handling highly loaded Magento modules and complex business logic To qualify for this position, you will need: - 3-5+ years of experience in developing websites and back-end integration on the LAMP stack - Previous experience in eCommerce development using Magento, with a preference for Zend Framework experience - Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, Ajax, jQuery, and Prototype - Experience in developing responsive websites for mobile and tablet platforms - Familiarity with extending or customizing existing products/frameworks like Magento, WordPress, or other CMS/eCommerce platforms - Knowledge of best practice version control methodologies and tools such as Git or SVN If you are interested in this opportunity, please send your resume to info@addisinfotech.com.
