JD For CNC Cylindrical Grinding Operator
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC cylindrical grinding machines for internal, external, or
combination grinding operations.
Interpret and work from engineering drawings, work instructions, and
specifications.
Monitor grinding operations and make necessary machine adjustments to
ensure precision and surface finish.
Knowledge precision measuring instruments (micrometers, bore gauges, dial
indicators, etc.) to inspect and verify dimensions.
Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of grinding machines.
Maintain clean and organized work areas, ensuring compliance with safety
and quality standards.
Sound knowledge of grinding principles, wheel selection, speeds, and
feeds.
Ability to understand GD&T and interpret complex technical drawings.
Familiarity with CNC programming and basic G-code/M-code knowledge
(preferred).
Knowledge of in-process gauging systems or automated grinding cycles.
Knowledge of TPM, 5S & Kaizen.
