Machinist CNC Milling

Your primary responsibilities in this role will include: - Following the daily production activity plan defined by your supervisor. - Verifying components through 100% inspection as per the drawing specifications. - Selecting the necessary HMC/VMC tools based on the component and programming requirements. - Recording inspection results in the appropriate format. - Updating the production status on ERP/work order systems. - Moving materials, along with all necessary reports, to the next stage of production. - Complying with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures. - Carrying out duties assigned by your supervisor and reporting any issues promptly. - Taking responsibility for loading parts, setting controls, performing advanced edits, deburring, and inspecting quality parts for compliance with requirements. - Demonstrating knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures, inserts, and other machine accessories. - Operating HMC/VMC machines, such as milling machines, in a heavy manufacturing environment. In addition to the primary responsibilities, you will also be accountable for the following facility/group-specific tasks: - Producing items according to drawings, work orders, and production plans. - Ensuring the calibration date of inspection tools before conducting inspections. - Adhering to procedures and work instructions. - Conducting first article and in-process inspections as required. - Documenting all inspection results in the appropriate format. - Updating work order status in ERP systems. - Maintaining NC programming in designated storage locations. - Moving all NCR/scrap items to the assigned area. - Contributing to cost reduction initiatives by identifying and reporting cost-saving opportunities. - Being open to working flexible shifts and adapting to changing work schedules. Required qualifications for this position include: - ITI/NCTVT certification with 5 years of experience or DME with 2 years of experience. - Proficiency in CNC machining and programming. - Strong familiarity with Fanuc and Mazatrol programming. - Knowledge of measuring instruments and GD&T. - Effective communication skills in English. - Familiarity with Fanuc and Mazatrol controllers. - Preferred knowledge of tooling. Job requirements involve: - Operating HMC/VMC machines. - Handling materials as needed.
