Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hobbing Machine Operator to join our production team at our facility in Ghaziabad. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating hobbing machines to produce gears, splines, and other precision components for industrial machinery. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining hobbing machines, ensuring the production of high-quality parts according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate various types of hobbing machines (e.g., conventional, CNC) to produce gears, splines, and other intricate profiles as per engineering drawings and specifications.
• Read and accurately interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine part dimensions, tolerances, and production sequences.
• Select, install, and adjust appropriate hobs, cutters, and workholding devices.
• Calculate and set machine parameters such as feed rates, speeds, and depths of cut.
• Monitor machine operation during the hobbing process to detect malfunctions or deviations.
• Perform in-process quality checks using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, gear tooth vernier, run-out gauges).
• Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain part accuracy and quality.
• Identify and troubleshoot common machine issues or part defects.
• Perform routine maintenance on hobbing machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor adjustments.
• Maintain accurate production records, including daily output, downtime, and quality control data.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Collaborate with supervisors and quality control personnel to ensure consistent product quality and efficiency.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
