As a Machine Design Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in designing and optimizing machines for gold refining and distillation processes. Your expertise in using SolidWorks and AutoCAD will be essential in developing efficient and reliable machinery that meets industry standards. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Machine Design:** Design, develop, and optimize machines for gold refining and distillation processes using SolidWorks and AutoCAD. - **3D Modeling & Drafting:** Create detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and CAD files for machine components, assemblies, and complete systems. - **Prototype Development:** Collaborate with the prototype team to bring designs to life and troubleshoot any design-related issues. - **Technical Specifications:** Develop and maintain accurate documentation, including machine specifications, materials, and assembly instructions. - **Testing & Validation:** Work with the R&D and testing teams to validate machine functionality, ensure design compliance, and perform modifications when necessary. - **Product Improvement:** Analyze existing designs and recommend improvements to increase performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency. - **Collaboration:** Work closely with production, assembly, and quality assurance teams to ensure smooth implementation of designs. - **Compliance & Standards:** Ensure that all designs meet industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements. **Key Requirements:** **Educational Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field. **Experience:** - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in machine design for industrial applications, preferably in gold refining or similar machinery. - Proven expertise in SolidWorks and AutoCAD for machine design, 3D modeling, and drafting. **Skills & Competencies:** - Proficiency in SolidWorks (part and assembly design, sheet metal design, etc.) - Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD for creating 2D layouts, schematics, and technical drawings. - Experience in designing industrial machinery and understanding mechanical engineering principles. - Strong understanding of materials, mechanical components, and fabrication processes. - Knowledge of gold refining and distillation processes is an advantage. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. **Additional Skills:** - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Knowledge of Bill of Materials (BOM) management and documentation is a plus.
