Designation : Assistant Chemist Location : Palsana, Surat. Salary : 15000/- to 25000/- Key Responsibilities: · Analyze routine Quality Control (QC) parameters, including: pH, Temperature, Color, Turbidity, TDS, TSS, COD, BOD, Oil & Grease, Ammonical Nitrogen, Chlorides, Sulphates, Sulphides, MLSS, MLVSS, MLSS/MLVSS Ratio, SV-30, SVI, F/M Ratio, Sludge Consistency , etc. · Conduct Quality Assurance (QA) analysis, including purity testing of raw chemicals such as PAC, Hydrated Lime, Ferrous Sulphate, Poly Electrolyte, etc. · Analyze rivulet water samples from various locations (Upstream & Downstream). · Conduct sample analysis for Park Member Industries . · Prepare detailed analytical worksheets and reports . · Manage documentation and maintain accurate laboratory data records. · Perform routine calibration of laboratory instruments . · Conduct jar tests for dosing optimization studies. · Troubleshoot, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment ; ensure all assets and apparatus are in optimal condition to minimize downtime. · Follow an effective file management system for lab data and reports. · Maintain proper stock inventory of laboratory chemicals and consumables. · Plot monthly trends for key quality parameters across raw, intermediate, and treated effluent samples. · Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and IS/APHA methods for all analyses. · Notify the relevant shift in-charges if any scheduled samples are not received. · Ensure excellent housekeeping standards in the laboratory. · Ensure immediate relocation of empty carboys/bottles to designated areas.
