Job Description

Specific Responsibilities

w To provide technical assistance and training to personnel from the facility in maintenance and use of medical equipment.
w To coordinate and evaluate the work performed by service contractors including maintenance, calibration, installation and verification of service documentation.
w To execute schedule of plan preventive maintenance.
w To provide training for related facility staff on maintenance and utilization of equipments.
w Renewal of AMC/CMCs of medical equipments.
w To coordinate and provide necessary support to Medical gas section in order to maintain uninterrupted gases supply to ward/ICUs/OTs etc.
w To track downtime of critical equipment and submit quality indicator data
w Provides critical inputs which help decision making for procurement of various medical equipment’s.

Specific Authorities / Privileges

w Prepare indent & maintain inventory min. stock
w Update complaint register/History card
w Maintain list of outsourced and ready to hire agencies/vendors
w Provide guidance to user of the Bio-medical equipment
w Member of Condemnation committee
