Logistics / Supply Chain coordinator

As a Logistics Analyst at Fluence Energy, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and enhancing the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of our logistics network. Your responsibilities will include supporting the release of logistics documents for all regions and modes of transportation, managing logistics PO in SAP HANA S4 Environmental, performing warehouse management activities, and handling logistics invoice accounting and reconciliation. You will collaborate with various teams within Fluence, serving as a subject matter expert for operational logistics best practices. Working closely with Supply Chain Operations, Procurement, Project Management, Sales, Finance, and other departments, you will contribute to the strategic delivery of Fluence's objectives, focusing on maximizing customer outcomes. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inbound and outbound logistics activities, including freight forwarding, customs clearance, and inventory management. Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to track logistics performance, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards will be essential aspects of your work. Your qualifications should include at least 5 years of experience in logistics management, preferably in the transportation or distribution industry, with experience in project logistics being a plus. Proficiency in SAP HANA S4 tool, experience in dangerous goods handling and shipping, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively are key requirements for this position. You should have a proven track record of successfully managing complex logistics operations, driving process improvements, and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication, negotiation skills, and the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders are essential for this role. Being familiar with international shipping and customs regulations, having knowledge of customs policies, export incentives, and re-exportation requirements will be advantageous. Experience with lean or Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement, proficiency in data analysis tools, and familiarity with international logistics regulations are desirable qualities for this role.
