Logistics Coordinator

As a Logistics Coordinator at our company, your role will involve planning, coordinating, and monitoring the shipment of goods to ensure efficient and timely delivery. You will be responsible for liaising with vendors, carriers, and warehouse personnel to manage the end-to-end logistics process. Your key responsibilities will include: - Preparing and processing necessary shipping documents like invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading. - Tracking shipments and proactively addressing any potential delays or issues. - Maintaining accurate records of all logistics activities. - Handling inquiries and resolving issues related to logistics. - Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations. In addition to the above, you should have knowledge of transportation regulations, freight management, inventory management, and warehouse management. You should be familiar with transportation laws, regulations, and industry standards, have experience in freight management including negotiating rates and managing freight claims, and understand inventory management principles and practices as well as warehouse operations. As for the qualifications required for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in any specialization and 1-3 years of experience in managing logistics. Hands-on experience in Excel is also necessary. Additionally, your skill competencies should include proficiency in documentation, dispatch management, communication, problem-solving, and knowledge of ports and couriers.
