Job Summary: We are looking for a Service Technician who has strong hands-on experience, especially in Outboard Motor (OBM) repair and maintenance . The ideal candidate should be skilled in servicing engines of Yamaha, Suzuki, Mercury, Tohatsu , and similar brands. If you have worked on OBMs, Jet Skis, or other marine engines and enjoy working outdoors and on-site this job is a great opportunity. Key Focus Area: OBM Repair & Servicing This role mainly focuses on diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and testing OBMs , which are engines used to power small boats, rescue boats, and water sports equipment. Mandatory Role & responsibilities: We are looking for a Senior Tender Manager (Team Leader) with deep technical understanding and end-to-end ownership of tendering processes in public sector projects. The role requires strategic oversight, technical precision, and regulatory compliance for high-value marine, watersports, boats, rescue items and infrastructure bids. Key Responsibilities: 1. Tender Identification & Analysis Monitor government portals, private sector opportunities, and international bids. Analyze tender documents (RFQ, RFP, EOI, BOQ, GCC/SCC). Assess eligibility, scope, and feasibility for bid participation. 2. Bid Strategy & Planning Formulate go/no-go strategy based on financial, technical, and legal evaluation. Coordinate with management on project selection, margins, and partnership strategy. Build a comprehensive bidding calendar to meet submission deadlines. 3. Technical Proposal Development Collaborate with technical teams to prepare compliance documents, solution proposals, and technical write-ups. Ensure alignment with customer requirements and tender specifications. Coordinate with OEMs for product data sheets, certificates, and authorizations. 4. Commercial Proposal & Costing Prepare pricing sheets, commercial bid formats, and cost estimation. Coordinate with finance and procurement teams for pricing inputs. Optimize pricing strategy to improve winning probability without compromising margins. 5. Documentation & Submission Ensure all documentation (technical, financial, legal, certifications) is complete and compliant. Manage online and offline submission as per tender guidelines. Maintain version control and audit trail of submitted bids. 6. Liaison & Communication Communicate with government departments, tendering authorities, and consultants. Handle pre-bid queries, attend site visits, and participate in pre-bid meetings. Ensure all clarifications and corrigenda are addressed promptly. 7. Post-Tender Follow-up Track bid results, debriefing sessions, and evaluation updates. Manage clarifications, negotiations, and contract award processes. Handover project details to execution/operations team post-award. 8. Team Leadership & Coordination Supervise junior bid managers, coordinators, and documentation staff. Allocate responsibilities and ensure task completion within deadlines. Mentor team members and standardize processes for efficiency. 9. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with government procurement rules, GFR, MSME norms, and other relevant laws. Assess risks related to performance, penalties, delivery timelines, and legal clauses. Recommend mitigations or contract modifications when required. 10. Reporting & MIS Maintain dashboards of submitted, won, lost, and upcoming tenders. Provide reports and insights to management on bid performance and pipeline. Preferred candidate profile: - Education: Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Marine/Civil/Naval Arch) or MBA with technical background preferred. - Experience: 8-15 years of proven experience in tendering, especially for marine infra, tourism, defense, or EPC projects. - In-depth knowledge of government procurement systems, bidding norms, GFR rules, and e-procurement platforms. - Strong in technical writing, project costing, bid structuring, and tender compliance. - Exposure to working with government bodies, port trusts, tourism departments, or defense agencies is highly desirable. - Excellent written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and project management skills.
