Linux Vehicle Staff Engineer/Senior Staff Engineer

As a Software Engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting software solutions on multi-core ARM/CPUs in the Linux embedded domain. Your role will involve working on embedded platforms including low-level drivers, firmware, kernel, and user-space components for Automotive Grade Linux and Yocto build system used in IVI and ADAS systems. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize strong C/C++ programming skills to design and develop software for heterogeneous compute platforms with ARMs, GPUs, DSPs, and specialized hardware accelerators in embedded SoC systems. - Develop real-time software for embedded products and lead medium to large technical teams effectively. - Hands-on experience in driver development on any RTOS and Linux userspace within the AGL framework. - Detailed understanding of SoC hardware blocks such as Clocks, PLLs, GPIO, Interrupt Controllers (GIC), Peripherals (SPI/I2C/PCIE/CAN/Ethernet/USB/UFS), power management, Linux kernel architecture, device drivers, and memory management. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. - 2+ years of work experience in programming languages like C, C++, Java, Python, etc. - Motivated self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Experience working with senior management, business process streamlining, and transformation. - Exposure to technology areas such as Multiprocessor Architecture, ARM processors, caching, interrupts, and virtualization technologies would be a plus.
