Linux Audio Senior Engineer

You are a highly skilled and experienced Linux Audio Developer with a deep understanding of Linux audio systems and extensive experience in Android Audio framework. As a Sr. Engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will have the opportunity to work on innovative and high-quality audio solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Support Qualcomm IoT customer projects for Audio technology. - Gather requirement details for new projects. - Understand Audio SW architecture including Audio Middleware (Gstreamer, Pulse Audio), Audio HAL, Audio Flinger, etc. - Design, develop, and maintain Linux audio drivers and applications. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Qualcomm to provide solutions to customer problems. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex audio-related issues. - Integrate audio solutions by working closely with hardware and software teams. - Mentor and guide junior developers in best practices and advanced techniques. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in Linux audio technologies. **Qualifications:** - 4-7 years of experience in Android Audio framework/AudioReach/ALSA Audio drivers/DSP. - Strong proficiency in C/C++ and Python. - Extensive experience with ALSA, PulseAudio, JACK, and other Linux audio frameworks. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Experience with TinyALSA, ALSA, ASoC topology, and codec drivers. - Understanding of TDM/PCM/I2S/PDM/Slimbus/Soundwire Audio Hardware Interfaces, Digital Microphones, Amplifiers, and Audio Codecs. - Experience with SW and HW tools used in the Linux kernel and Android debugging. **Additional Details of the Company:** Qualcomm is dedicated to creating innovative and high-quality audio solutions in the audio technology industry.
