Linux Administrator

As a Linux Administrator at ITIO INNOVEX PVT. LTD., your role involves managing and maintaining IT infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and performance. You will be responsible for tasks such as installing, configuring, and maintaining servers on platforms like AWS and DigitalOcean. Additionally, you will manage and monitor system infrastructure, troubleshoot software and network issues, and ensure system security through access controls, firewalls, and data backups. Your duties will also include administering Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and cloud-based services, as well as maintaining IT documentation and ensuring compliance with security policies. Key Responsibilities: - Install, configure, and maintain servers on AWS and DigitalOcean platforms. - Manage and monitor system infrastructure, including networks and cloud environments. - Troubleshoot software and network issues effectively. - Ensure system security through access controls, firewalls, and data backups. - Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and cloud-based services. - Maintain IT documentation and ensure compliance with security policies. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - Experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role. - Strong knowledge of Linux (especially CentOS) and cloud platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean, Azure). - Familiarity with networking protocols such as TCP/IP, VPNs, and firewalls. - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. In addition to the qualifications, the following are preferred qualifications: - Certifications (Microsoft, AWS, RHCSA, CCNA) are a plus. - Experience with DevOps tools, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and automation.
