Lighting & Compositor (3D) Artist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Lighting & Compositor (3D) artist to join our creative team. You will be responsible for creating high-quality lighting setups and compositing rendered elements to achieve the final look of 3D scenes and animations. You should have a strong eye for mood, atmosphere, and visual storytelling, ensuring the final output meets artistic and technical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Light 3D environments, characters, and props using industry-standard software to enhance mood, depth, and visual storytelling.
• Composite 3D render passes (e.g., beauty, specular, ambient occlusion, etc.) into final images or sequences.
• Collaborate with modeling, texturing, animation, and FX teams to ensure seamless integration of assets.
• Optimize lighting setups to ensure render efficiency and maintain visual fidelity.
• Apply color correction, grading, and other post-process effects to refine the final output.
• Troubleshoot lighting and render issues in collaboration with the pipeline and rendering teams.
• Maintain consistency of lighting and compositing across shots in a sequence.
• Stay updated on industry trends and software advancements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in 3D lighting and compositing tools such as Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, After Effects, Vray.
• Solid understanding of lighting principles, color theory, shadows, and reflections.
• Experience in multi-pass compositing and rendering workflows.
• Ability to match real-world lighting and integrate CG elements into live-action plates (if applicable).
• Knowledge of render optimization and efficient lighting workflows.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• A solid portfolio or showreel showcasing lighting and compositing work in 3D environments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,926.99 - ₹30,599.08 per month
