Role & responsibilities

• Knowledge of animal organisms, their tissues, cells, functions, interdependencies, and interactions with each other and the environment
• Develop new methods to analyse laboratory generated data to enable the broad use of genetic screening and validation
• Ensure data generated is communicated in a concise, easy to understand manner to the appropriate teams and stakeholders.
• Monitor, review and critically interpret published work to guide internal research as it pertains to genetic perturbation
• Collaborate with discovery oncology, pharmacology, and genomics/pharmacogenomics to develop and integrate enabling technology and pursue key biological questions.
• Knowledge of the chemical composition, structure, and properties of substances and of the chemical processes and transformations that they undergo. This includes uses of chemicals and their interactions, danger signs, production techniques, and disposal methods

Preferred candidate profile

• 2-8 Years of relevant industry experience in Lifescience domain with M.Sc. in Life Science or 2+ Years of relevant experience with PhD of academic/Industrial experience in molecular biology.
• Msc or PhD in molecular biology and relevant industrial experience
• Good presentation and communication skills
• Strong leadership qualities with ready to own the work attitude
• Experience in CRO or Pharma is desirable
• Good analytical and reasoning skills
• Track record of managing small team is an advantage
• Understanding of Biological data and databases is a plus
• Knowledge of databases like Proteins, Drugs and Literatures databases is desirable
• Research paper publications in good journals
• Candidate should be a strong team player with excellent oral and written communication skills and with a demonstrated ability to work independently to design experiments, interpret data, troubleshoot, and suggest next steps.
