Job Description

You will be responsible for designing and developing applications in Liferay DXP portal platform. This includes custom development of Portlets, Modules, and Portal Plugins using Liferay SDK and IDE. You will also be customizing Liferay Out-Of-The-Box portal functionalities by utilizing Hooks and Extensions. Additionally, you will work on Liferay Themes, layouts, and FTL template development. Your technical proficiency should include skills in Liferay DXP 7.x, OSGi, JAVA, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, and JSP. You should also be adept in front-end technologies such as ReactJS, Angular, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS3, and Bootstrap. Experience in developing and consuming Web Services (SOAP, REST) and working with databases like MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle DB, and MongoDB is required. Knowledge of Jenkins, Build Management tools (Ant, Maven, Gradle), Unix, Linux operating systems, and Unix commands is essential. You should have experience in Agile development practices and be able to effectively communicate with customers. You will be responsible for ensuring code quality and following best practices as per industry standards. Mentoring and leading the team effectively, as well as participating in Pre-Sales and Proof of Concept activities to deliver technical designs and solutions, are part of the role. Strong communication skills are a must for this position.,
