LiDAR Mobile Mapping QC Engineer

Position: LiDAR QC Engineer

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in any discipline
• Minimum 6 years of experience, including at least 3 years in LiDAR QC
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• A team player with leadership and coordination skills
• Ability to plan and allocate resources effectively based on project requirements
• Documentation skills will be an added advantage

Technical Skills & Experience:

• Proficiency in LiDAR software such as TerraSolid Suite, MicroStation, Spatix, etc.
• Strong knowledge of Production and Map Finishing processes
• Extensive experience in Mobile Mapping, Aerial Mapping, DTM/DSM generation, Advanced Classification, and Finalization tasks
• Familiarity with TerraMatch, Orthophoto, and Photogrammetry is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand project specifications and prepare preliminary understanding documents
• Develop Production and QC procedures with required checklists
• Plan and allocate work to team members effectively
• Define and monitor production & QC targets as per project estimations
• Ensure timely delivery with high-quality standards
• Create pilot projects and conduct initial quality reviews
• Perform QA tasks based on project acceptance criteria
• Conduct R&D on new LiDAR and Photogrammetry technologies
• Deliver project training to team members as per client requirements
• Communicate project updates and technical queries to the Project Manager
• Achieve team targets set by the Project Manager
