In this role, you will have the chance to: - Oversee regulatory change monitoring and compliance-related research, lead project management for the Compliance group, and support Compliance management through guidance and communication - Demonstrate discretion and independent judgment in advising on change management, regulatory compliance, and project assistance, with the authority to develop, interpret, and implement compliance management policies and practices - Serve as a subject matter expert on federal, state, and local laws related to mortgage lending, offering strategic insights on maintaining compliance while driving business growth - Collaborate with the Mortgage Real Estate Services team to enhance key documents, policies, processes, and procedures, develop action plans, and ensure compliance monitoring - Coordinate with the team to prepare for monthly compliance calls, including creating the compliance deck, conducting prep calls, follow-ups, and leading the monthly compliance call - Aid in audit preparations, such as SSAE 18, SOX audits, and client audits - Maintain a database containing all relevant state and federal statutes and regulations with compliance components related to mortgage operations and real estate guidelines - Plan and execute projects by identifying and mobilizing resources, establishing detailed plans, monitoring progress, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring timely delivery of results What we are looking for in you: - Experience in compliance and/or audit, including reading, interpreting, tracking, and managing regulatory requirements, internal and external guidelines, and contracts - Background in the real estate industry with experience in creating processes and controls to ensure compliance - Proficiency in RESPA, FHA, GLBA, and State Real Estate Regulatory requirements - Ability to research and implement procedures and controls to address laws and regulations - Demonstrated project management skills, enabling you to define problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw conclusions to support management decisions - Desirable experience in the title industry Join Altisource and enjoy: - Competitive salary based on your experience and skills - Comprehensive insurance plans covering medical insurance for employees and family, Personal Accident Benefit, and Life Insurance for employees - Wellness Programs including onsite doctor support, psychologist, counselor, health checkup camps, etc. - 10 paid holidays and 26 paid days off per year - Employee engagement activities both offsite and onsite, fostering a positive work culture - Opportunities to participate in community service initiatives, such as Habitat for Humanity Don't miss out on this opportunity!
