Key Responsibilities: Procurement Operations: Receive and review requisitions from vessels or Technical Superintendents. Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for best price, quality, and delivery terms. Issue purchase orders (POs) in line with company policies and procedures. Monitor PO status to ensure on-time delivery to vessels or designated ports. Vendor Management: Develop and maintain relationships with approved marine suppliers and service providers. Conduct periodic evaluations of supplier performance (cost, quality, delivery). Identify and qualify new suppliers based on technical and commercial criteria. Logistics & Coordination: Coordinate shipment and delivery logistics including consolidation, freight, and customs clearance.
