Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

Responsible for the building up of and maintenance of the libraries of different components of ships, like luxury motor yachts in Siemens NX.
Draw the right dimensions of the example drawings given of components to qualitatively fill and build the library
Make 3D models and detailed 2D mono drawing for mechanical parts with an eye for details

Material knowledge
Machining knowledge
Welding knowledge
Finishing knowledge

Preferred candidate profile:

8 years of work experience as Mechanical Engineer
Of which 5 years with Siemens NX
3 years experience with shipbuilding - outfitting, alternatively in machine building.
Stainless-steel parts in marine environments
Experience with Microsoft Office and Zoom
Experience with AutoCAD and Siemens NX
Experience with building libraries in Siemens NX
Broad interdisciplinary technical insight
