Job Title: Library Assistant Key Responsibilities: Assist in the day-to-day operations of the library, including book issuance and returns. Assist users in locating resources, both physical and digital. Maintain and organize the librarys collection and ensure that books and materials are properly shelved. Support the cataloging and indexing of new acquisitions. Provide general support in organizing library events and activities. Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Library and Information Science (BLISc) from a recognized university. Preferably Master's Degree in Library and Information Science (MLISc). Knowledge of library operations and cataloging systems. Good communication skills and the ability to assist students and faculty. Detail-oriented and organized.
