Job Description

Career Point Gurukul Kota is seeking a dedicated and organized Residential Librarian to manage and enhance our school library. The ideal candidate should be passionate about books, student learning, and creating an engaging library environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day library operations and maintain a well-organized collection
• Assist students and teachers in locating resources and reference materials
• Maintain library records, issue/return systems, and cataloguing
• Plan reading activities and promote a culture of reading among students
• Ensure proper upkeep, hygiene, and discipline within the library
• Support academic staff with study materials and research needs
• Stay on campus as part of the residential staff and participate in school routines

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Library Science (B.Lib / M.Lib preferred)
• Prior experience in school/college library management is an advantage
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Tech-friendly with basic computer skills
