Salary Range: Hike on last salary (Approx. ₹30,000 – ₹40,000 per month)

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and organized Librarian to manage and oversee all aspects of library operations. The ideal candidate will be passionate about books, information management, and creating a learning-friendly environment for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize, catalog, and maintain all library resources including books, journals, and digital materials.
• Manage daily library operations such as issuing, returning, and shelving materials.
• Assist students and faculty in locating and accessing reference materials.
• Maintain an updated library database and ensure systematic record keeping.
• Oversee procurement of new books and materials based on curriculum needs.
• Promote reading habits and organize library-related activities or events.
• Ensure the library is a quiet, resourceful, and engaging space for all users.
• Manage library budgets and coordinate with vendors or publishers.
• Maintain digital library systems and support e-learning initiatives if applicable.

Required Skills:

• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Proficiency in library management systems or software.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Basic computer literacy (MS Office, digital catalogs, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree or diploma in Library and Information Science (BLIS / MLIS).
• Experience working in a school, college, or institutional library.
• Familiarity with digital library tools and e-resource management.
