Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage and maintain digital and physical library resources, books, journals, and databases.

2. Assist students and faculty in accessing e-learning materials and research resources.

3. Maintain library records using Library Management Software (LMS).

4. Review and procure new learning resources based on academic requirements.

5. Monitor online library systems and resolve access-related issues.

6. Create and update catalogues, indexing and classification of resources.

7. Support online learners with research queries and reference services.

8. Ensure smooth functioning of the library following institutional policies.

9. Coordinate with academic teams to update course-related reading materials.

Required Skills & Competencies

1. Knowledge of Library Science, e-resources, and cataloguing systems

2. Proficiency in Library Management Software (LMS)

3. Familiarity with academic journals, research databases & e-content platforms

4. Strong organizational and documentation skills

5. Good communication and student-handling ability

6. Basic computer literacy (MS Office, internet research)
