We are looking for a diligent and organized Account Executive to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, timely reporting, and efficient management of accounts payable and receivable. Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable Management: Prepare Tank NSA SOA (Statement of Account). Process and book purchase invoices for NSA/Kandla. Enter port invoices into Tally and maintain detailed records in Excel for MICTPL, AICTPL, AP SEZ, and ACMPTL. Prepare and manage port reconciliation for MICTPL, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Generate and distribute weekly Accounts Receivable (AR) reports. Follow up for overdue payments from customers, maintaining clear communication and accurate records. Perform bank payment updations in Tally on a daily basis. Provide UTR (Unique Transaction Reference) details to vendors daily. Conduct weekly bank reconciliations. Assist in the finalization of accounts, contributing to month-end and year-end closing processes. Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by management, supporting the finance department's overall objectives. Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) is essential. Proven experience in an accounting role, preferably with experience in a Shipping & Logistics industries. Proficiency in Tally Prime or similar accounting software. Strong command of Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and interpersonal skills for vendor and customer interactions. We are seeking an experienced Operations Executive to join our Kandla team. This role is crucial for managing the full lifecycle of container shipments, both export and import, with a specific focus on our ISO tank container business. Key Responsibilities: Export Operations: Finalize export shipments and release Container Release Orders (CROs) for both tank and dry containers. Ensure containers are moved to the port before cutoff times and resolve any discrepancies to guarantee all containers are loaded. Manage documentation, including preparing and sharing Bill of Lading (BL) drafts, and releasing final BLs after payment is received. Upon vessel sailing, send pre-alerts and final documents to the Port of Discharge (POD) office. Import & Inventory Management: Send Import No-Objection Certificates (NOCs) and empty off-loading letters for MBL (CY-CY or SOC) shipments. Track and maintain an accurate inventory of containers at both export and import locations. File Letter of Guarantee (LG) bonds for tracking container movements. Container Repositioning: Plan and execute the repositioning of empty containers as per head office instructions. Coordinate with the yard and transporters to ensure smooth container movement. Create jobs in the FM system and send pre-alerts for empty container movements. Required Qualifications: Graduate from any stream.
