Role and other Responsibilities: 1 Maintaining the central database of compliances- Domestic & International 2 Monitoring, reviewing and analyzing changes under business and regulatory laws, in force in India and globally 3 Conduct of requisite diligence, research on changes in applicable laws and its integration into compliance solution platforms. 4 Exercising requisite diligence whilst reviewing correctness and comprehensiveness of the compliance task lists and compliance database, under business and regulatory laws, in force 5 Benchmarking and adopting best practices for monitoring, reviewing, preparing and maintaining compliance tasks list and compliance database 6 Adhering to the standard operating procedure prescribed by the company on all aspects relating to data governance 7 Effective communication to Legal Update Team, pursuant to conduct of quality control / due diligence 8 Periodically reviewing instances of deterioration in correctness and/or comprehensiveness of compliance tasks list, if any, ascertaining reasons thereof and adhering to measures adopted to prevent its occurrence 9 Addressing escalations received from internal/ external stakeholders from a data governance perspective 10 Reviewing compliance impact assessment reports before its dissemination to stakeholders. 11 Attending to review/ governance meetings with clients, preparing minutes, ensuring closure of actionable, in a time bound manner. 12 Formulating, reviewing and enforcing compliance under SOPs, Policies and Codes relating to Data Governance. 13 Monitoring, reviewing and reporting system lacunae, systemic risks in current systems, controls and practices, assessing its root cause and recommending measures to improve database, processes and controls 14 Engage with Head Compliance Solutions on quality and comprehensiveness of compliance task list/ compliance database and other matters from a data governance perspective. 15 Enforcing ownership and accountability from a data governance perspective 16 Involving in transformational initiatives, capacity planning, and initiatives to enhance Data governance standards Other responsibilities: 1 Meeting clients to understand issues relating to migration/ onboard to Compliance Solutions Platform 2 Regular interactions with Business Development and Customer Support Teams to build capabilities from a data governance & compliance centricity perspective, 3 Preparation and submission of information concerning Data governance. Conducting orientation/ training programs for team members/ clients, in matters affecting Data governance. Qualifications & Experience: 1 Bachelor's degree in any discipline with post qualifications in Law. Must hold valid Sanad. 2 Additional qualification as Member of ICSI or ICAI or ICWAI or Management, will be added advantage 3 An accredited qualification in regulatory and compliance assurance will be advantageous. 4 6 to 10 years of work experience in the Compliance Management | Legal industry. 5 Experience of 4 to 6 years, in administering compliance solution platforms, will be an added advantage. 6 Good knowledge of industry regulations and governing laws. Proficiency in administering IT based compliance management platforms. Ensuring prompt identification and resolution of delivery issues and accountability for resolving escalated issues according to governance escalation procedures. Responsible for People Development, Capacity planning, Delivery Management, and Client Communication Providing training on compliance tool. Document compliance-related processes and maintain records.
