Managing end-to-end governance compliance for subsidiaries, private/public companies, LLPs, and Section 8 entities. Leading corporate transactions such as private placements, buybacks, and compounding of offences. Building, mentoring, and managing a high-performing team, and creating robust processes and checklists for quality delivery. Driving technology adoption to improve efficiency and streamline operations. Enhancing the firm’s thought leadership by conducting webinars and writing articles on Corporate Governance. Supporting the development and optimization of internal systems and processes for scale and effectiveness. Education & Certification Qualifications Company Secretary (ICSI qualified) Must Have Qualifications More than 10 years of experience in corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and advisory. Position Overview We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Legal Advisor Data Privacy & Protection to join our Corporate Commercial Practice team. The ideal candidate must demonstrate deep subject matter expertise in privacy and data protection laws, with strong legal advisory, documentation, and client engagement skills. Key Responsibilities Data Protection Frameworks : Design, develop, and implement comprehensive data privacy and protection frameworks for clients. Professional Experience 5+ years of relevant legal experience, with a strong focus on privacy and data protection laws. Expertise in reviewing and negotiating privacy-related agreements and legal documents. Prior experience in advising clients on compliance with the GDPR, the DPDPA, and related regulatory frameworks. Excellent analytical, drafting, and interpersonal communication skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality work in a dynamic environment.
