Legal Counsel - Real Estate

As a professional with more than 7 years of experience in real estate practice in Maharashtra, you are sought after by a leading real estate developer for the role involving managing litigation and non-litigation matters related to land, residential, MAHARERA, and commercial projects. Key Responsibilities: - Handle litigations related to Land, residential, and/or commercial projects developed and/or being developed by the Company. - Manage litigations concerning Flat/Apartment before Courts, Tribunals, including The Real Estate Regulatory Authority, Consumer Forum(s), etc. - File complaints and appeals before all the Courts/Tribunals/quasi-judicial authority, etc. - Draft and finalize legal documents pertaining to litigation(s). - Coordinate with Counsels of High Court for case management. - Coordinate with Law firms/Lawyers for case management and internal coordination between various Company departments. - Review and finalize Title Search Reports and Title Certificates related to Land/Flat. - Draft legal documentations for various projects developed and/or managed by the Company. - Review lease and mortgage documents, deeds, and trust documents. - Draft Joint Development Agreement(s) along with ancillary documents. - Structure transactions along with finance companies. - Draft and finalize Agreement for Sale, Sale Deeds, Letter of Allotment, Deed of Conveyance, Legal Notices, etc. - Deal with Municipal authorities for the purchase of land/acquisition and coordinate with related departments. - Provide advice on transactions regarding the purchase and sell of land/building(s), acquisition of Agricultural/Non-Agricultural Land. - Provide advice on transactions concerning Flats/Apartments. - Assess legal risks and develop remedial measures. - Address legal issues before the closing of the transaction.
