As a Legal Compliance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that clients are onboarded in compliance with Local, State, and National regulations. Your primary responsibilities will involve maintaining ethical compliance practices, internal audit, and governance procedures to uphold the company's standards of regulatory adherence. **Key Responsibilities:** - Liaise with internal teams to apply and execute KYC/KYB policies effectively. - Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations to provide guidance and challenge internal teams when necessary. - Monitor and assess news related to clients to identify potential risks. - Consult on the impact of risk factors and sanctions on client risk rating. - Supervise daily compliance and auditing activities within established guidelines. - Fulfill any other duties as assigned by the Board. **Qualifications:** - Preferably a Lawyer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the FinTech sector. - Indian Taxation Lawyers with experience in handling international clients are highly desirable. As a successful candidate, you must possess deep knowledge of GST, FTS, EL, Withholding Taxes, AML, and cyber frauds concerning DTTA. It is essential to stay abreast of mandates issued by various regulatory bodies such as GST Council, CBIC, MCA, NCLT, CBEC, CFPB, RBI, and other competent authorities overseeing FinTech operations. Understanding the operational dynamics of a FinTech platform and proficiency in risk assessment and management will be critical for excelling in this role.,
