Legal Associate

About The Role

• We are looking for a Legal Associate that thrives in a fast-paced and challenging environment. In this role, you will be assisting all functions within the legal department.

What You'll Do

• Assist members of the Rubrik legal team with corporate governance tasks, including required filings, board/shareholder matters, and equity-related projects
• Provide support for corporate transactions, including M&A, financings, and capital market transactions
• Help build and maintain company-wide and internal legal processes and programs to ensure compliance with legal regulations
• Manage and organize numerous corporate and compliance tasks and workstreams
• Implement and maintain legal technology platforms and tools (including artificial intelligence tools)

Experience You'll Need

• Legal degree and familiarity with legal concepts and terminology
• Experience working at a reputable technology company preferred
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Extremely organized and detail-oriented
• Passionate about legal technology, data security, and artificial intelligence
• Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally with a variety of different teams
• Receptive to coaching and feedback
• Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Expertise in Microsoft Office programs as well as Google suite
