Job Description

Bachelors degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university.
Minimum 3- 5 years of experience as a practicing lawyer specializing in civil matters (for Jr Advocates) and 8 - 20 years experience for Sr Advocates / Legal Advisors
Flexibility to work on full time/part time/ case to case assignment basis

Preferred candidate profile

In-depth knowledge of old and new laws regarding land acquisition Act related to reserved lands as per Town Planning Act and Payment of Compensation against acquired lands
Well versed at drafting Writ Petitions and file Affidavits in Reply relating to de-reservation of lands
Knowledge of Maharashtra Rent Control Act and proceedings against defaulting tenants seeking protection under under this Act
Knowledge of proceedings against illegal encroachments on vacant land
Deep knowledge of Maharashtra Restoration of Lands to Scheduled Tribes Act, 1974
Experience in briefing senior counsels and discussing cases.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Strong ethical standards and professional integrity.
Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Willingness to engage in continuous professional development
