Additionally, you are expected to conduct regular evaluations of student performance and contribute to the academic development of the institution. **Key Responsibilities:** - Prepare and deliver engaging lectures in General Chemistry - Design and assess laboratory experiments, ensuring lab safety - Foster a collaborative learning environment for students - Mentor students and encourage research participation - Ensure in-depth understanding of general chemistry concepts - Conduct regular evaluations of student performance - Contribute to the academic development of the institution **Qualifications Required:** - Proficiency in General Chemistry with a strong foundational knowledge in the subject - Experience in Laboratory Skills, including setting up experiments and overseeing lab safety - Strong Lecturing and Education abilities, including lesson planning and effective communication - Capability to conduct and facilitate Research to promote innovation and critical thinking - Strong interpersonal and mentoring skills to collaborate with students and colleagues - Masters degree in Chemistry or a closely related field; teaching experience is an added advantage,
