Lead/Sr Manager Software Engineer

As a hands-on QE VP lead, your role will involve managing a team of technofunctional quality engineers to drive critical multi-year initiatives on the TaxSmart platform. You will collaborate with the team and stakeholders to build a plan for these initiatives, design testing strategies, and drive quality enhancements for the QE teams. Your responsibilities will include: - Building holistic QE strategies for multi-year, multi-application programs - Designing, developing, and maintaining reusable automated frameworks, tooling, and utilities - Establishing CI automation capability - Collaborating with cross-functional teams and business users to understand application requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage - Building robust QE processes for optimal coverage and testing - Collaborating with release and devOps teams for pre and post-deployment tests - Supporting UAT needs with business users, tradeOps team, vendors, etc - People management for around 6-8 technofunctional QEs Qualifications required for this role include: - 12+ years of experience in quality management, particularly in fintech organizations within the asset and wealth management domain - Strong understanding of AWM functioning and trading processes - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, NodeJS, Java, Groovy, SQL, and big data - Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools - Excellent problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and presentation skills - Good understanding of industry best practices in QE, SDLC, metrics, and release management - Strong leadership skills to coach, groom, and build clear career paths for team members Overall, you will play a crucial role in driving quality initiatives and ensuring the delivery, quality, and stability of the TaxSmart platform through effective team management and strategic planning.,
