Lead/Sr Manager Software Engineer

You are looking for a hands-on Quality Engineering Vice President (QE VP) Lead to manage a team of technofunctional quality engineers for driving critical multi-year initiatives on the TaxSmart platform. Your role involves working with the team and stakeholders to plan initiatives, determine testing requirements for platform delivery, quality, and stability. You will lead multi-year quality initiatives to enhance the QE team's capabilities in F2B testing, defect metrics, automation, reusability, prod issue leakage, and cross-skilling. Key Responsibilities: - Develop QE strategies for multi-year, multi-application programs - Create and maintain reusable automated frameworks, tools, and utilities - Establish CI automation capability - Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business users to understand application requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage - Implement robust QE processes for optimal test coverage - Work with release and devOps teams for pre and post deployment tests - Support UAT needs with business users, tradeOps team, vendors, etc. - Manage around 6-8 technofunctional QEs Required Skills: - Minimum 12 years of quality experience, with complex initiatives in fintech organizations, preferably in asset and wealth management domain - Strong understanding of asset and wealth management functioning and trading - Proficiency in Python, NodeJS, Java, Groovy, SQL, big data, and willingness to work with diverse technologies at scale - Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools - Excellent problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and presentation skills - Familiarity with industry best practices in QE, SDLC, metrics, and release management - Strong leadership skills for coaching, grooming, and defining career paths for team members,
