Lead/Senior Data Engineer

As the Lead Data Engineer for a reputed/MNC company located at Chandigarh, you will be responsible for redefining sales and operations for banks, credit unions, and fintech lenders. The platform you will work on unifies all the disconnected applications, digital communications, and partner ecosystem data that mortgage loan officers need from Lead-to-Funding into one seamless CRM solution. By transforming raw data into actionable insights, you will empower financial professionals to optimize performance, streamline workflows, and drive smarter decision-making. In this role, you will collaborate with product, engineering, and customers to brainstorm and develop impactful data products tailored to clients. Leveraging AI and machine learning techniques, you will integrate intelligent features into offerings to enhance the overall product experience. Your responsibilities will also include architecting, developing, and optimizing end-to-end data pipelines on AWS, leading the design and deployment of real-time data workflows and AI-enhanced data products, and ensuring cost and performance optimization across all data solutions. Additionally, you will mentor and nurture a growing team of data engineers, promoting best practices in software architecture and development, while fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation within the team. You will oversee the scaling of both teams and infrastructure to support rapid growth and evolving business needs, implementing effective cost management and performance optimization strategies. To qualify for this role, you should have a minimum of 8 years of experience in data engineering, software development, or related roles. A proven track record in designing and deploying AWS cloud infrastructure solutions, managing data infrastructure assets, and extensive hands-on experience with databases and tools such as Postgres, Redshift, Airflow, and MongoDB is essential. Demonstrated experience in integrating AI and machine learning solutions into data products, expertise in Python, SQL, and PySpark, as well as strong leadership and communication skills are also required.
