Obtain DTCP (Directorate of Town & Country Planning) approvals, factory licenses, and environmental clearances such as pollution control NOCs. Liaise and maintain strong relationships with departments including Industries Department, Labour Department, and other state government/municipal authorities. Represent the company at regulatory meetings, hearings, and with committees or local agencies. Ensure the organizations operations conform to relevant TN Labour Laws, Factory Act, and all other applicable statutes. Prepare and submit documentation for all regulatory applications, renewals, and inspections. Track and follow up on approval statuses, responding promptly to queries from authorities. Interpret regulations to guide internal teams on compliance and approval requirements. Manage dispute resolution and facilitate negotiations with government officials as required. Maintain documentation, communication, and audit trails for all compliance activities. Proactively anticipate regulatory risks and provide strategic input on mitigation. Build and sustain a strong network within the Tamil Nadu government and industrial ecosystem.
