Lead Urban Designer

As an experienced and dynamic Urban Designer at AE7, you will play a crucial role as a Lead master planner and Urban Designer in ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality design solutions. Your responsibilities will include: - Providing technical leadership to manage the day-to-day operations of the design studio, including resource allocation, project scheduling, and budget management. - Leading and mentoring a team of designers to ensure successful project execution. - Managing design projects from inception to completion, overseeing all phases of project development. - Ensuring quality control and assurance of design deliverables through regular design reviews. - Providing design leadership and direction to develop innovative design solutions meeting client objectives. - Collaborating with stakeholders to establish project goals, objectives, and design criteria. - Representing AE7 in client meetings, presentations, and industry events. - Staying updated on industry trends and incorporating new ideas into studio operations. - Willingness to travel for project meetings and site visits. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's and masters degree in Urban Design or related field. - Minimum of 10+ years of professional experience in masterplanning. - Strong leadership and team management skills. - Proficiency in design software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and project management tools. - Comprehensive understanding of international benchmarks, best practices, and regulations. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budgetary requirements. - Experience in a multi-disciplinary design firm or architectural practice preferred. - Exposure to projects in the Middle East or relevant international experience preferred.
