1. Design End-to-End AI Workflows
- Understand existing workflowsin complex organizations through immersive research
- Reimagine processesusing AI capabilities while respecting compliance requirements
- Design human-in-the-loop systemsthat maintain accountability and transparency
- Create adaptive interfacesthat guide users through context-setting, AI interaction, and output verification
2. Pioneer Enterprise AI Interaction Models
- Invent new UX paradigmsfor probabilistic systems with no existing precedents
- Design for uncertaintyby creating interfaces that communicate confidence levels and alternatives
- Develop trust mechanismsthat help users confidently leverage AI recommendations
- Create verification workflowsthat make it easy to validate AI outputs before implementation
3. Translate Complex Organizational Processes into Intuitive Interfaces
- Convert dense operational workflowsinto clear, step-by-step guided experiences
- Design for diverse user basesfrom field workers to executives
- Ensure accessibility compliancewith industry standards (WCAG, ADA)
- Minimize training requirementsthrough intuitive, self-explanatory designs
4. Conduct Deep Contextual Research
- Embed with client teamsto understand daily workflows and pain points
- Interview stakeholdersacross organizational hierarchies
- Map existing processesand identify AI transformation opportunities
- Create personas and journey mapsspecific to enterprise roles
5. Collaborate Across Multidisciplinary Teams
- Partner with AI/ML engineersto understand model capabilities and limitations
- Work with domain expertsto ensure compliance with industry regulations
- Collaborate with business analyststo align designs with organizational goals
- Advocate for user needswhile balancing technical and compliance constraints
6. Rapid Prototyping and Validation
- Create low-fidelity prototypesto test AI interaction concepts quickly
- Develop high-fidelity mockupsfor stakeholder buy-in
- Conduct usability testingwith actual end users
- Iterate rapidlybased on feedback and AI model improvements
7. Establish and Maintain Design System
- Define design tokens(typography, color, spacing, motion), component specs, and usage guidelines aligned to WCAG 2.2 AA and enterprise compliance needs (audit trails, provenance indicators)
- Build reusable UI components- Create and maintain a- Figma libraryand- code-aligned component library(e.g., Storybook) that developers can adopt across products
- Governance & contribution model- Set versioning, review gates, and contribution workflow with PM/Engineering (changelog, deprecation policy)
- Handoff excellence- Provide redlines, component APIs, empty/error/loading states, and telemetry hooks; partner with engineers to ensure high-fidelity implementation
- Theming & localization- Ensure tokens/components support theming (CSS variables) and i18n/RTL-LTR considerations
