Lead Tester

We are looking for a Lead Tester with a strong background in manual and/or automation testing, and a

proven track record in leading QA teams. The ideal candidate should have 8+ years of experience in

software testing and at least 4 years in a leadership role, capable of managing a team, ensuring test

quality, and driving testing best practices. Experience with tools like Selenium or Playwright is a plus.

The role requires a mix of technical proficiency, team management, and stakeholder communication to

ensure high-quality software delivery in a dynamic environment.

Team Leadership & Management:

• Lead, mentor, and support a team of manual testers to deliver high-quality outcomes.

• Conduct performance reviews, identify training needs, and foster a collaborative and productive

team environment.

• Allocate tasks, define priorities, and ensure testing milestones are met.

• Estimate effort, manage testing schedules, and allocate appropriate resources.

• Monitor and guide adherence to established testing processes and best practices.

• Facilitate communication between QA and development teams to track and resolve defects

efficiently.

• Provide regular testing progress reports and updates to relevant stakeholders.

• Resolve team-level conflicts and remove roadblocks to ensure continuous delivery.

Technical & Process Skills:

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks.

• Proficient in writing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

• Experienced in defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.

• Capable of analyzing requirements and designing effective test strategies.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in a fast-paced development environment.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong organizational and time management abilities.

• Effective team collaboration and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and project needs.
