Lead Test Engineer

You are being hired as a QA Manager to take charge of quality assurance activities for extensive banking and wealth management applications. This is a full-time position based in Hyderabad, providing significant project exposure, domain responsibility, and a chance for a prolonged commitment. This role suits seasoned QA professionals with a background in Wealth Management systems who aspire to transition into a leadership role within a banking setting. As a QA Manager, your key responsibilities will involve leading and supervising the entire QA process for wealth and banking platforms. This includes formulating test strategies, planning and executing tests, and ensuring closure in alignment with SDLC/STLC. You will be expected to oversee testing activities encompassing APIs (utilizing Postman), as well as mobile (Android & iOS) and web platforms. Collaboration with business, development, and QA teams is crucial to ensure high-quality project delivery. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing defect resolution, generating QA reports, and verifying release readiness. Your role will also entail providing guidance to QA teams and ensuring compliance with quality protocols. To qualify for this position, you must possess a minimum of 10 years of QA/testing experience within the Banking/Financial sector. Hands-on involvement with Wealth Management systems like Comarch or equivalent is mandatory. Previous experience managing at least two projects as a QA/Test Manager is required. Proficiency in API testing using tools like Postman, coupled with familiarity in mobile and tablet testing across Android and iOS platforms, is essential. A solid grasp of test planning, execution, defect lifecycle, and effective stakeholder communication is also expected. This role is based in Hyderabad and requires your presence onsite. It is a full-time, client-facing position, with an immediate to 15-day joining window.
