Description
As the Lead Software Architect at this company, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the design and development of software architecture aligns with business objectives and scalability. You will collaborate cross-functionally to define system requirements and design solutions that seamlessly integrate into complex engineering systems. Moreover, you will drive innovation through prototyping and evaluating new tools, frameworks, and methodologies to enhance development processes. **Responsibilities:** - Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent - Minimum of 15 years of software development experience - Experience in full stack development and technical architecture for Web, Windows, and Mobile applications - Strong exposure to architecting applications for supporting large scale IIoT projects - Deep knowledge in Microsoft technologies - Experience in architecting/porting On-Premise applications to the Cloud - Proficiency in Microservices, Containerization, and Container Orchestration - Good understanding of Cybersecurity and secure design - Knowledge of networking concepts - Experience in handling full life cycle projects from requirement management to delivery - Ability to work effectively with global, cross-functional teams - Support continuous improvement by exploring alternatives and technologies for architectural review - Knowledge of Oil and Gas distribution and Custody transfer would be a plus **Qualifications:** - Eagerness to learn and master new technologies, tools, and practices - Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain working relationships across disciplines and the organization - Strong communication skills - Ability to manage complexity, deal with ambiguity, and drive results in a highly matrixed environment - Strong interpersonal skills for interfacing with internal stakeholders, external clients, and diverse employees - Self-motivated, goal-oriented, capable of determining work priorities, training requirements, and meeting deadlines under pressure - Excellent business acumen, making strategic trade-offs, balancing competitive pressure with risk management and mitigation - Global mindset to align with a standard global strategy while accommodating regional and business-specific requirements - Customer focus to partner with customers, senior management, and business stakeholders for delivering global software solutions - Innovation focus to generate new ideas, develop Proof of Concept, and create a strong NPD pipeline with a track record of Innovation disclosures and patents As an organization, Honeywell helps solve the world's most complex challenges in automation, aviation, and energy transition.
