Job Purpose:
Lead - Structural Design (CSD) is responsible for overseeing the design and integrity of city side structures, ensuring compliance with safety regulations,codal requirements and industry standards.This role involves leading a team of engineers to develop innovative structural solutions for new construction and renovation projects. The Lead collaborates with architects, MEPF engineers, project managers, and contractors to ensure that designs are efficient, cost-effective, and meet operational requirements. It also includes conducting structural analyses and design, preparing detailed design documents, and reviewing project specifications and BOQ. Responsibilities
- Lead the structural design team in developing innovative and efficient design solutions for terminals, ATC, and ancillary buildings or large-scale commercial and retail infrastructure
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand design requirements, goals, and constraints
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements in all design activities
- Oversee the preparation of detailed structural engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Conduct thorough structural analysis and simulations to validate the integrity and safety of design solutions
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior members of the design team
- Participate in project meetings, design reviews, and construction site visits to ensure successful project execution
- Collaborate with external consultants, architects, and contractors to integrate structural design with overall project objectives
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and quality of structural design processes
- Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in structural engineering and design

- Experience in designing and coordinating the construction of large-scale commercial or retail infrastructure (for candidates from the retail and commercial infrastructure industry)
- Understanding of aviation-specific design requirements and regulations (for candidates from the aviation industry)
Non-Negotiable Skills
- Structural design expertise in terminals, ATC, and ancillary buildings or large-scale commercial and retail infrastructure
- BE in Civil Engineering and M. Tech in Structural Engineering

Experience
QUALIFICATIONS
- 10-15 years of experience in the aviation or retail and commercial infrastructure industry
- Demonstrated track record of successful project management and structural design implementation
- Proven experience in leading and managing a team of structural designers and engineers
Education Qualification
- BE in Civil Engineering
- M. Tech in Structural Engineering
Certification Required
No specific certifications required, but relevant professional certifications in structural engineering would be advantageous.
