Job Description

As a Senior Software Tester at Siemens Healthineers, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality of the platform and integrated software solutions. You have a proven track record in software testing in the medical domain and are passionate about contributing to groundbreaking projects that directly impact patient care and drive advancements in the medical field. Your responsibilities will include: - Mentoring and guiding about 5 local testers to foster a culture of knowledge sharing and growth. - Collaborating with testers at sites in Slovakia and Germany in cross-functional, agile development teams. - Supporting the execution of manual and automated tests to identify defects and ensure software quality. - Ensuring compliance to the quality management system in the test team for audit-proof releases of medical products. - Contributing to the design and implementation of test automation frameworks and tools. - Conducting performance, scalability, and security testing as required. - Identifying and reporting software defects in a detailed and concise manner. - Staying up-to-date with trends and best practices in software testing. Qualifications required for this role: - Graduation or Post Graduation in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Medical/Life Sciences. - 10+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance in the medical domain. - Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, architectures, and best practices. - Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks. - Knowledge of frameworks for medical products like Syngo is highly preferred. - Experience in R&D organizations and agile setups like SAFe/SCRUM preferred. - Understanding of the software development life cycle and software engineering processes of medical products. - Software development experience in C#, expertise in MS Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, source control systems like TFS, requirement management systems (e.g., TFS), and test automation frameworks (e.g., MF QC).
