Lead Software Engineer/LMTS - Backend - Distributed Systems - Hyderabad

As a Lead Backend Software Engineer at Salesforce, your role involves designing and implementing high-quality, scalable code to enhance the user experience and contribute to the growth of the company. Key Responsibilities: - Build new and innovative components in the evolving market technology to enhance scale and efficiency. - Develop production-ready code for the cloud platform, catering to millions of users. - Make design decisions focusing on performance, scalability, and future expansion. - Contribute to all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including design, implementation, code reviews, automation, and testing. - Create efficient components and algorithms in a microservice multi-tenant SaaS cloud environment. - Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and provide technical guidance to the team based on seniority level. Qualifications Required: - Mastery of multiple programming languages and platforms. - Minimum 10 years of software development experience. - Proficiency in object-oriented programming and scripting languages like Java, Python, Scala, C#, Go, Node.JS, and C++. - Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and non-relational databases such as Postgres, Trino, Redshift, and MongoDB. - Experience in developing SAAS products on public cloud infrastructure like AWS, Azure, and GCP. - Proven track record in designing and developing distributed systems at scale. - Knowledge in queues, locks, scheduling, event-driven architecture, workload distribution, relational, and non-relational databases. - Strong understanding of software development best practices and leadership skills. - Degree or equivalent relevant experience required, with evaluation based on core competencies for the role.
