Lead Software Engineer - Python AWS React/Typescript

Role Overview: You will be working as a Lead Software Engineer in a small competent team developing an innovative modern application that utilizes AI to enhance efficiency in the Public Safety sector. The application is utilized by a majority of police forces in England and Wales to reduce time spent redacting documents. Your role will involve collaborating with the product owner and Solution Architect to enhance the AI-enabled product roadmap. Key Responsibilities: - Write reusable, testable, and efficient Python code - Work with Document and image processing libraries - Implement API Gateway and backend CRUD operations - Design and develop using Cloud Infrastructure, primarily AWS - Utilize Serverless Application Model, CloudFormation, and Infrastructure-as-Code - Work with Lambda, API Gateway, Containers/Storage (S3 buckets), Dynamo DB, and RDS - Develop clean and user-friendly interfaces using TypeScript & React - Backend programming for web applications (CRUD) - Gather requirements from users and deliver software features from concept to production - Understand and apply Software Development Life Cycle - Hold or be eligible to hold UK NPPV-3 and SC clearances Qualification Required: - Graduate degree - Proven expertise in Python development - Experience in TypeScript, React, and JavaScript development - Ability to work independently and lead technical discussions - Strong problem-solving skills, inquisitiveness, autonomy, motivation, and integrity - Awareness of the big picture impact of solutions and problems Additional Company Details: NEC Software Solutions (India) Private Limited is a leading provider of end-to-end IT services across various sectors.
