In This Role, You Will: Provide technical leadership and mentor a team building internet-scale applications focusing on performance, reliability, and scalability from the ground up Collaborate closely with Product and Design teams to develop customer-centric solutions Develop intuitive, interactive web apps using client-side (React) and RESTful server-side code (Node, TypeScript/JavaScript) Implement Microservices, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), and Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) in real-world applications Use a variety of databases from relational (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) to NoSQL (AWS DynamoDB, Couchbase, Cassandra) Work alongside top engineers on complex SaaS applications Here's What You Need: Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related technical discipline Strong understanding of CS fundamentals Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Primary Skills: 7 to 9 years software development and delivery experience Hands-on with Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript Experience with RESTful APIs Experience designing architecture, including design patterns and non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, security) Experience with databases: SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Couchbase, Cassandra, AWS DynamoDB, or other NoSQL Experience with messaging/queue systems such as SQS, RabbitMQ, Kafka, ActiveMQ Strong leadership and influence in technical discussions and vision building Preferred Skills: Full stack experience from frontend (React, Vue, Angular) to backend Knowledge of GraphQL Experience with Elasticsearch or Solr Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud platforms Experience with feature flags and trunk-based development
