Lead Python Developer

Role Overview: As a talented and experienced Python developer with exposure to Capital Market domain, your role will involve working within an Agile team for one of our Global Investment Banking Clients. Your primary task will be to help design and enhance the transaction reporting platform from design to development and testing. You will also coordinate with front office, technology, and regulatory teams to understand the requirements. Additionally, you will be responsible for supporting modern agile software development methods, educating and mentoring less experienced OOP team members, and documenting functional and non-functional requirements aligned with client needs and objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Work within an Agile team to develop a strategic transaction reporting platform - Design and enhance the transaction reporting platform - Coordinate with front office, technology, and regulatory teams - Support modern agile software development methods - Educate and mentor less experienced OOP team members - Document functional and non-functional requirements - Develop and deliver scalable applications - Communicate effectively with various stakeholders Qualifications Required: - Excellent hands-on application development experience in Python and OOPs - Understanding of capital markets, transaction reporting, and related regulations like EMIR, MiFIR, SFTR, CAT, etc - Excellent analytical skills - Strong knowledge of AMPS and similar messaging protocols - Experience with different analytical tools - Experience in end-to-end development lifecycle in a test-driven software development environment - Knowledge of BDD, TDD, and Agile software development process - Experience with clean code principles - Familiarity with Python standard libraries - Proficiency in test-driven development/BDD - Experience with RDBMS, ORM, and CQRS - Understanding of REST/HAL, MQSeries/AMQ/AMPS, event sourcing, NoSQL databases like Cassandra and MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and enterprise standards - Knowledge of a large bank application landscape, realtime transaction platform, and various regulations and data modeling concepts in the banking industry,
