Lead Platform DevOps Engineer

As a Lead Platform DevOps Engineer, you will be a crucial member of our team, responsible for the development and deployment of our cloud-based applications. Your role will involve leveraging your expertise in .NET development and DevOps principles to ensure the smooth operation and continuous enhancement of our infrastructure. To excel in this position, you should have proven experience in a .NET DevOps role with a specific focus on Azure services. You must demonstrate the ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of DevOps best practices are essential for success in this role. Your responsibilities will include utilizing .NET build systems to streamline development processes, migrating and automating infrastructure efficiently using Azure services, and containerizing applications with Docker and Kubernetes for enhanced scalability and portability. You will also be implementing Test-Driven Development (TDD), integrating it into CI/CD pipelines, and utilizing static code analysis tools to identify potential issues early in the development cycle. Proficiency in Azure technologies such as Azure VM, VNET, SQL, Container Instances, Azure Monitor, Azure Identities, Azure Key Vault, and Azure DevOps is crucial for this role. You will be expected to integrate applications using Azure Managed Identity, Azure Pipelines with YAML, and adhere to the 12-factor app methodology for building scalable and maintainable applications. Strong debugging and logging skills, along with certifications like AZ-400 or AZ-204, are preferred qualifications.
